VR Guide section 8.4.4.1 Add a new route

Hello, As I run 2 boats,metch and hotdogger,I use 2 computers. When I use the "track tool" button to draw a track,in VRTool, I find that the time and date displayed at the bottom of the window attached to the pointer, an example is shown in VR Guide section 8.4.4.1, is not the same as the computer's clock time.Each panel shows a completely different time from the clock time even though the clock times are correctly set at current time.Question,how do I set the time used by the " track tool" button to agree with current time?Or, WHY is the correct time not shown?

If you design a track using the track designer, the point times are in GMT.
If you are on a real boat, GMT is probably the best choice, but of course virtual sailors
don't move (most of them don't). So you are right that this is confusing.
I will change this to local time in future version.
