If you are using the boat script in the Velux 5 ocean race could you please let me know how well it works and what setting are you using ?
I had asked for the setting information on an other post I made, lots of people look at it but no one replied.
I assume they were also looking for the information.
Thanks

There is no relationship between boatscripts and VR races. How can you ask for boatscripts in the Velux ocean race ?
As Omar already stated clearly more than one, it does not control MP boats.

Thanks for your reply for now I know.

The reason I was asking for info was because I miss-understood that it would :D

That's correct. The regatta runner and boat script were
designed to run local simulations. It is like a sandbox
where you can test ideas.
(or even run small regattas with friends, since vrtool boats
can be controlled remotely, from another vrtool or
from the iphone app).

 Boatscript does not control virtual regatta boats elsewhere.

I like to setup a local boat running along with the
external boat (with the same winds and polars).
In theory they should stay close together
( if you can maintain the same level of focus as the script boat ;)

Speaking of winds, there is a new function in the last version:
point the chart with the mouse and press F3.
This will open an editor where you can change the
wind direction and speed at the mouse position.
(Sometimes the forecast differs from actual conditions).

Note that any change will go away if you load new winds
on top of the changed.
