Land collision detection

Postby MBalhuizen » Mon Nov 10, 2014 2:21 pm

Hi all,

I am trying to understand the workings of collision detection. I have used it before and seemed to work.

But now I am preparing for leg 2, and my routes go straight through Africa ;-)
As far as I can see, i have file
"C:\Program Files (x86)\VRTool\monoBmpGSHHS_24k12k.bmp"
selected and loaded, and I have option Land collision detection activated.

Can someone help me out, and/or point me in the right direction to more information on collision detection?

Kind regards!
Martijn

In the weather routing module options there is a [x]checkbox
to activate land collision detection. Uncheck if you are far
from any land. This will speed up the calculation a bit.
Check if to avoid land collision.
