At drawing track and rate concerning wind less than 40 (for example 36) speed of vessel is less, than at 40 degrees, and the passed way is displayed more, than at 40.

If, using the drawing track tool, you point too high to the wind, the track designer engages in automatic crossing mode (Zig-zag-ing - Otherwise your boat would stop in the first pixel you clicked against the wind, and stay put until the next wind change. Of course you would not stay stopped for so long: its unrealistic).

If you mark the track (with Control-T) small "z"s will show in the end of each segment requiring auto-crossing.

Of course is up to you to do the crossing by alternating tacks. There should be an indication of that ( /\/\/\/\/ ).

Yes, I know that you have told. But it should be added not at corners, it is less 40, and at corners, less, than is in polars (for example for Clipper - less than 32). And a corner to a wind 36 - quite working, here again it is not necessary yet is artificial to add length of a trace.
As a result, the trace under a corner to a wind 36 cannot be compared with after under a corner to a wind 40. The trace under a corner 36 incorrect, it is longer, than real.

You are right  The lower limit for TWA is currently too high and clearly inadequate.
I will add a settings for that.

Thanks
