Today I'm also starting at the Samantha Davies Challenge.
I've tried to setup this race in VRTools and I think I got it running. But to use it in Both the Clipper and the Samantha Davies, I have to change the polar- and servername every time. Not the most easy way .
So I made a second version of VRTools in the programmap (called VRTools 1). But when I setup VRTools1 for the Samantha Davies, the setup VRTools itself also changes in Samantha Davies. So, this isn't the solution
What am I doing wrong?

In the "Other" tab there is a checkbox:

[x]Save/Load regatta config to NAV file

Check it. This is supposed to deal with multirace usage.

Open one race desktop, set all the configurations
for that race and save the NAV desktop.
Do the same for the other race and save to another desktop.

You can alternate the desktops and have
the regatta configurations be retrieved for you.
But of course you will not be able to follow both
races in real time/full time.

Maybe you could create a second Windows user
and run vrtool in a second session..

As for "Server name" this is a deprecated edit box.
Unfortunately it seems the program complains
if this box is left empty
