Winds grid size

I can't see anything wrong.
Look at the status bar just after pressing F2. It should say something like "Transferring tourvoile.virtualregatta.com/resources/winds/meteo_Lon_Lat.xml" with Lon and Lat in half degrees (XX.5). If not check the next zone and the zone size should be 2.5° x 2.5°

Yes, the status bar shows winds coming from tourvoile.virtualregatta.com, in .5, but in VRTool interface, dont change anything. The winds grid still standard...

Bob, this seems impossible to me. What do you call standard grid ? A grid with cell of 1x1° ?
If you see .5 in the status bar, I can't explain how you end up with such a grid. Don't you have any error like 404 or 302 ?

Hi,
I made an Excel file to design a "track" by importing all the data.
This track is to be imported into VRTOOL using the copy - paste method.
It will design a 15 milles square grid according to the winds for the "Tour de France" race.

well - I have these problems too .... can't make the cases to become 2.5 x 2.5 ......
But the only thing that is really important, is to see the borders between the wind-cases ........ and this can be done by colouring the wind-cases ....... just activate this option in the properties pannel under "winds"
I d'ont really like the coloured cases - but better coloured than without borders
